When Prada sent its lace-clad models down the runways, the doily-inspired collection was immediately hailed as one of this season’s most cutting-edge trends. But this is not the fabric of Madonna’s material girl era. Today’s stitch is sophisticated, with tactile texture and bolder patterns. We’ve knitted together some advice on how to wear this season’s “holiest” trend.
