You may look at this latest boot trend and think it's too skankalicious
for you -- and if you want to wear a vinyl pair with a leather mini and
fishnets, you're probably right. But we ask you to take a second look
at these thigh-high boots and reconsider -- if done right (with an
appropriate heel, a conservative color and with an understated
outfit), they can be very appealing. (See Halle Berry and Jessica
Alba at left.) And depending on your price range and desired
color, there really is a style for everyone. We've shopped for a
great pair to fit every budget. We suggest you give over-the-knee
boots a chance -- wear them over skinny pants or with a skirt that
hits at or barely above the boot and work it. (Well, not in the Julia
Roberts/Pretty Woman way, but you know what we mean.) |
