Sometimes we'd like to just take a vacuum to our faces to suck out all the gunk that's clogged in our pores. What's worse are the little blackheads that make our complexions look dirty. Just the thought of it makes us shiver with a feeling of the yuckies. Luckily, we have developed a penchant for using our Clarisonics (which made Oprah's list of favorite things in 2007) and have had clean skin ever since.

     Clear Skin

Think of the Clarisonic brush like an electric toothbrush (in fact it was developed by the lead inventor of the Sonicare toothbrush system). You choose the type of brush head that you want, based on your needs, and this oscillating brush opens the pores and removes dirt and debris from the skin. With a unique system, it is clinically proven to eliminate six times the dirt, debris and makeup of manual cleansing and also alleviates excess oil and imperfections. Clarisonic thoroughly cleans and exfoliates skin that manual cleansing methods can't reach – just as the toothbrush targets those hard to reach places too.

Better yet, it's really easy to use, so we had no problem incorporating it into our daily cleansing routine. First, moisten your skin and the brush with warm water, making sure to shake out any excess water from the head of the brush. Next, apply your cleanser of choice fairly liberally to your face and lay the brush against your skin. Then power it up and slowly move the brush across your entire face. Finally, rinse your skin and the brush head with warm water. Don't let your face be the only area that has clear skin – use it in the shower on your neck, back, upper chest, shoulders, arms and backs of the hands. Once a week, simply wash the handle and brush separately in warm soapy water and replace the brush every three to four months. And trust us, once you realize how healthy and clear you're skin looks, you'll be a believer too.
