Dermalogica ChromaWhite TRx
Chroma Chameleon
Have you ever seen subtle little discolorations on your face and wondered, "Where the heck did those come from?!" They're not quite freckles and definitely not zits…they're brownish and almost soft looking. Well those splotches are hyperpigmentation and they come from somewhere: common culprits include the sun, hormones, infection or exposure to ultraviolet light. So unless you're planning to drain your body of estrogen and avoid all sun exposure for the rest of your life, chances are, you might get pigmentation. Thankfully the folks at Dermalogica have developed the ChromaWhite TRx line, which is designed to help treat and prevent hyperpigmentation
Jessica Biel is already a fan of the line -- and if she can be featured in People's Most Beautiful issue without makeup and still look gorgeous, then she has a skin regimen that we're willing to try! If you're curious to check it out, we recommend the Brightening Regimen, a six-piece kit. The regimen starts by cleansing and sloughing off dull skin cells; next is the combination of C-12 Concentrate and Extreme C, which help stop discoloration before it starts. This is done through the blend of exfoliants and brightening agents, which help improve skin clarity, speed up brightening and defend against future discoloration. The final step: Pure Light SPF 30 and Pure Night -- moisturizers (one for day; one for night) that shield your face from environmental factors and replenish lost moisture. Even if you don't have dark spots, these anti-aging moisturizers are amazing and work on any skin type.

One other big pro of this product: the line is free of Hydroquinone, which is a potentially cancer-causing ingredient found in other lightening products. Believe us, we don't need to worry about the safety of a product when we're worried enough about the spots on our faces. Thankfully, Dermalogica leaves us worry-free, pigment-free and looking radiant.

The Dermalogica ChromaWhite TRx Brightening Regimen is available for $188 on dermstore.com.
